Treatment and Accessibility Committee

The Treatment and Accessibility Committee (TAC) is looking for volunteers! We need members willing to chair meetings and drivers to transport treatment center clients to local meetings.

Duncan, Warmlands Shelter: Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. Members of the fellowship are invited to attend the meeting at the shelter, to carry the message.

Chair a Detox meeting:

Nanaimo, Clearview Detox Facility: A male and female co-chair the meeting on the 1st Sunday and 3rd Saturday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The following dates are available.

May 5, 18, June 15, July 7, 20, Aug 4, Sept 1, 21, Oct 6, 19, Nov 3, Dec 1, 21

Drivers needed:

Cedars Treatment Center, Saturday morning drivers. Volunteer female drivers will transport female Cedars clients to and from the Saturday morning women’s meeting in Duncan (note: a driver’s abstract is required to drive the Cedars van).

Life on Wheels, drivers. Male & female drivers are needed to help clients attend local AA meetings at the Alano Club or the United Church. Pick up and drop off at Drinkwater Rd., Duncan.

Bridging the Gap:
